Curiosity has carried me a long way.

My first flight was at ten days old—from Switzerland to Luxembourg. Since then: more than 110 countries, long overland journeys, international duty stations and around 500 dives.

Speaking six languages has helped me get closer to people along the way. Photography became one of my ways of documenting those encounters, especially underwater.

In 2016, I helped co-found Young Explorers at The Explorers Club. I served on its Board and worked on youth education and access to exploration.

I also support the Kibera Boxing Club ↗, which uses boxing to create opportunities for young people in Nairobi.

What matters most to me is exploration not as performance, but as a way of staying curious, inspiring others and remaining open to what can still be learned.
